How he achieved this is the question here. He has eaten the right food. This sure doesn’t mean that he skips on the delicious food that my mom cooks. He loves to feed his tongue. But, above all he used to work out right.

Also, his schedule when I was 4-5 Years old, used to have him walk for 5 Miles, everyday, and I used to assist him as a kid. He then used to do Yoga-Aasans. He sure kept a good diet. How Can You Do This?

  • Sit on the floor with legs stretched out.
  • Now keep your body straight, head and spine erect.
  • Close your right fist and allow it to rest on your right knee with the thumb facing the ceiling.
  • Keep your gaze fixed on an object placed in front of you, keep your head still in this position.
  • Exhaling deeply, gaze up towards the ceiling. Ensure that only the eyeballs are moving while keeping the head still. Inhale deeply and bring your gaze back to the object.
  • Now, inhale deeply and gaze down towards the floor. Ensure that only the eyeballs are moving while the head is still. With a deep exhalation, bring your gaze back to the object.
  • Now, repeat the same procedure with your left thumb.

2). Eye Rotation – Sideways:

This no doubt allows a better movement of your eyeballs. And, also benefits both Myopic and Hypermetropic people.

  • Sit on the yoga mat in Padmasana or Sukhasana.
  • Keep your spine and head erect.
  • Stretch out your arms, close and clasp your fists, thumb facing the ceiling, as in Lingam mudra. Keep your gaze fixed on the thumb.
  • Bring your hands close to your face so that it is spaced between the eyebrows.
  • Slowly move your hand to your right side with eyes following the path of movement. Remember your head remains straight, only eyes move.
  • Bring your hand back to the space between the eyebrows.
  • Repeat the same with your left side as well.
  • If you are finding it difficult to do this with hands, you could use a pencil and do the same.
  • Inhale deeply while your hands are placed in between your brows.
  • Exhale deeply while moving your eyes sideways and inhale as the eyes come back to the initial position.
  • Repeat 10 times, to begin with, increasing your count to 25 with practice.
  • Close your eyes and allow resting for 10 seconds afterward each repetition.

3). Palming:

Well, palming is a good way to relax your eyes. Also, the best thing is that you can do this anytime anywhere. So, let us see how you do it.

  • Sit in a comfortable position.
  • Rub your palms as hard as you can. You should feel the heat radiating.
  • Now, place your palms over your eyes to feel the warmth.

4). Trataka – Meditation:

This is a meditation form. This betters the Eyes’ Vision. This requires sitting in a fixed position with an erect spine. You need to have a candle lit too. Let us see how to do it.

  • Sit in a comfortable position, Padmasana, Vajrasana, or Sukhasana, on a yoga mat. If you are suffering from back pain, you can take support by leaning against a wall as this exercise is a little too long.
  • Place an object about 2 feet away from you. Preferably a candle.
  • Breathing normally, gaze at the object. Count your breaths. To start with, you can consider 50 breaths.

  • Stand with your legs apart from each other and take a deep nasal inhalation.
  • Bend your knees slightly.
