In today’s world, there’s no question that the idea of church is very often misunderstood. What is the church? Who belongs to it? What is its purpose? How should it be organized and led? Alistair Begg helps us answer these questions and more by examining what the New Testament has to say about the nature, origin, and leadership of the church, the relationship of individuals to the body of Christ and to local congregations, and the marks of a healthy church fellowship. In all of these areas, we are reminded that Christ Himself is the church’s head, and it is only in submission to His authority that churches can function as they ought and flourish as He intends.
